Social Justice Reflection by Moe

 My social justice reflection is about racism. The reason why I decided to do racism is because there was a incident back in 2020 where this person named George floyed who died due to a cop putting his knee on his neck which caused him to die. Than people were outraged since he was black human being who died for no reason, he wasn't any harm to anyone. People got angry due to his death and started protesting to get justice for his death and also have freedom in the country. What changes happened after George Floyd's death? Some of the incremental change, like bans on choke holds, new pursuit policies, those have moved forward, and some of the attempts to reduce police budgets have maintained as well. People got so angry, they started looting place where they would break in big company's with bricks and try to steal big merchandize. For example cvs, gucci, and etc. Company's were loosing a lot of money because of this. This is why I decided to do racism, I want people to know racism shouldn't be happening and it should be stopped. People are dying because of their skin color and they are getting less benefits because of their skin color as well. I decided to use images in my adobe indesign to show the stuff that happened in the past of racism. For example the white people can sit in front of the bus and the black people sit only in the back of the bus which was not right cause every skin color people are equal. Another example is that people had to drink from different water fountains, black water fountain tasted bad while the white water fountain tasted really good. Which was unfair for the black people. This is why I decided to do racism to bring justice to the country. Another reason why I made this work because so people can see my work and realize the big problem of racism and finally stop being racist to people and start being equal again to the people. I also added writing to my adobe indesign because when people walk by or pass by, they will see the evidence on what happened on these years against people in different color. Therefore I hope people read the evidence that is posted on the adobe and start acting, and not be racist to any people.  I decided to use some real pictures from the 1900s and some of the pictures of cartoon of people being racist to other people with different skin tone.  Therefore racism is shouldn't be a thing and it should be stopped. In the future I want to add more pages of my drawing and pictures instead of using 6 pages. I want to add more posters of racism so people can have more thoughts about it and realize faster since there will be a lot of pictures and a lot of writing which people should read and understand the problem.

Refining my logo by Moe

This is my 15 refining logo. I would say my best one is the Moe Boba with the imagine in the middle. I think that's one of the best one, and eye catching for people who see it. I value that logo a lot, and I believe I will be able to maintain a lot of customers whenever I open my boba shop. I use different fonts for each letters, Like gothic Garamond, and etc. One thing I could have worked better is making better sizes, and organizing it very well. I will keep in mind for my next logo I make. Overall I think the imagine boba is one of the best one I made, and it's really aesthetic plus it's one of the highest standard. Also one more thing I would like to work on in my future is try to decorate it for me. For example: Putting more colors and more images in the logo. It will give a good vibe to logos, and more people be seeing the logo. I think scripted logos are also good, but I think more people are not a big fan of scripted logos. People want exemplary logos.

High School Heroes Reflection by Moe

The training prepared me really well for the teaching day, It's a good thing I trained, I was really confident to teach them about finance. I managed the classroom very well, When they got loud, I told them to clap once if you hear my voice and they all quieted down. They learned the lesson really well, they learned new information about money and have new perspective about it. I think I should have asked the kids more question, but I didn't ask them that much questions. Me and my team worked together very well, We each did a lesson and helped each other making sure we get the lesson done. Teaching the kids in school kind of give me a sense of becoming a teacher in the future. I know how to handle the kids, and how to make sure to calm them down if they're mad or angry.
